EarSketch's curriculum is categorized into three types: (1) Byte-Sized Beats, (2) Remix Lab, and (3) Courses.

Shorter, "byte-sized" modules, typically focusing on one to two topics

One to two modules (or class periods)

Intended for any subject area and grade levels, appropriate for middle school and high school students

Mid-length, week-long collection of Byte-Sized Beats, typically focusing on competition themes

Three to five modules (or class periods)

Intended for any subject area and grade levels, appropriate for middle school and high school students

Lengthier, more traditional type curriculum focused more on computing concepts

Quarter- to semester-long classes

Intended for computing subject areas and classrooms, appropriate for upper middle school and high school students
