Students will focus on coding a longer song in this Week 7 Challenge. The code should reflect the basic sections of a song: chorus, verse, and bridge.

Songs of the summer make you want to dance, sing, and most importantly reflect a message of that year. Students are challenged to create the "song of the summer"

Students will connect looping beats and repetition in music with for-loops in computer science.

Students will be able to navigate the EarSketch workspace, use basic functions to play sound clips in their songs, and learning some of the basic blocks of programming: numbers, constants, and variables.

Students will be able to identify and semonstrate how strings are used with the makeBeat function to create rhythmic patterns in EarSketch.

Students will be able to create sections and structure their songs using functions and add special sound effects.
